For the next two months, Rev Sonja’s Sunday messages will focus on Unity minister Robert Brumet’s book Living Originally: Ten Spiritual Practices to Transform Your Life. Brumet makes clear how most of our perceived problems stem from living from a false sense of self that lives at odds with itself. His book offers ten spiritual practices that move us from the false self to a discovery of our origin. When we learn how to live from our original self, we are better able to live from our higher consciousness. The ten core practices include: self-awareness, self-acceptance, forgiveness, benevolence, compassionate communication. The next five practices are built upon the five core practices. They are as follows: Everything is my teacher, Dancing with chaos, Death is my advisor, Living in the heart of desire, and I am the author of my life.
Join us in our sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. Sunday or on Facebook Live. Our entire team will be there: Rev. Sonja, music team, and production team, to bring you a service that will touch your heart and soul.
We will continue to make sure you feel safe, which means inviting you to wear a mask if you choose and also social distancing. When you come to the Sunday Service, please let the ushers know your preference and they will assist you.
If you are at a higher risk of severe illness or are not feeling well, please enjoy the Sunday Service via our livestream.
If you are able to join us, we look forward to seeing you!
For the Interfaith Food Pantry, bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations every Sunday and place them in our food container to be shared with those in need in our community.
